This creation was first created by DevilsChariot But I wanted one to so I used his instructions "here" to make my own. This is a basic tutorial of my "RE"creation.

Same as DevilsChariot, I also used the zombietronix calculator for a round about idea of how long to make the limbs. But I am adding in the measurements I used in each picture.

Measurements of PVC:

The next several pictures will be of all the cuts needing to be made to the PVC.

Using the zombietronix calculator you can refer to reference letters. A,B,C ect..

The pictures of the PVC show what the part is for and its measurements.

Lower Leg

Upper Leg

Spine

Forearm

You will only need ONE forearm

Upper arm

You will only need ONE upper arm

Hips

Shoulders

Neck

Rear Neck

Assembling: Legs

Ok, now that you have all the pieces cut, you are ready to put it together.

First connect the lower leg to the upper leg with the 1/2" PVC 45°

Assembling: Hips

Place your hip pipe in the center and your fittings just like the picture.

1/2" PVC "T"s connected to hip on both sides. Then a 2" piece of PVC tube between the T and 90... See picture

Assembling: Spine

Attach the 2 spines to the top of the hips.

Assembling: Shoulders

Attach a 1/2" PVC "T" on the top of the 2 spines as shown in picture.

Assembling: Shoulders 2

Place a piece of PVC pipe 4 1/4 long in the 3/4" PVC "T" then connect the PVC pipe to the 1/2" PVC "T"s this should make the neck piece swivel.

Assembling: Shoulders 3

From here you will attach the shoulder pieces to a 1/2" PVC 90 on both sides, then attach the arms.

Disregard the left PVC arm in these pictures.. Later we will put the arm in but only using the foam bone for the arm. (I goofed making it out of PVC)

Assembling: Neck

The best way to tell you how to assemble the neck is by pictures. This step is easy.. See picture.

Paint:

After everything is assembled, paint everything matt black. I used spray paint. Cheap O stuff...

Neck movement:

This is what I used for the movement of the neck & head. 1. 1/2" X 2" measured at 11" long. And 1. 1"X 2" 6"long. The 11" plank should be attached to the rear neck PVC with a bolt on the outside, a washer, then 2 nuts to lock it in place. (this end must pivot) (do not tighten!)

Then opposite end of 11" plank, attach to one end of 6" plank with a bolt on the outside, a washer, then 2 nuts to lock it in place. (this end must pivot) (do not tighten!)

Then the opposite end of the 6" plank will go to the 5 RPM motor. If you use what I used (5 RPM Motor) you can drill out a hole for the motor port. Then drill out a hole in the motor port. Then I put the plank on the motor port and ran a screw threw the plank on from the side so it holds the plank to the motor when it spins.

What I have so far:

So this is what I have so far. I did hot glue the foam bones on to the PVC and roughly posed the frame how I want it but I still have to get the cauldron out and make sure it fits correctly before I put the set screws in the fitting so it doesn't change its pose. I did put screws in the hip fittings but they will probity have to be adjusted.

I will put more pictures up as I get a little farther but this is where I am as of now. 7-16-10

Please check back for updates...

I still have a little ways to go..
